The pictures don't do this product justice, having the samples in your hands is far more informative regarding texture, look/aesthetics and crucially thickness.
And this last feature is perhaps the one that 'jumps out of the page' for me, as it allows me to verify how it would 'interact' with the current home gym set-up. I have a small storage door in the gym area and, judging by samples, it should open over the mats without problem thus avoiding having to cut them.
It is also important to get an idea on how the colour scheme is likely to look in real life, it's better to see and touch/feel the samples than get an idea from photos.
I do recommend this product as necessary guide to the home gym set up before committing on such a purchase. Once all measurements are done the next step should be more straight forward. Get this before covering your floor to make an informed decision.
