We at VersaFit® want you to enjoy your AAA graded rubber flooring with no concerns for potential problems. Every VersaFit® tile is protected by a warranty honouring coverage for its intended usage and environment. 'Home' implies intended usage within a private, domestic, non-commercial and non-fee paying environment. 'Studio' indicates intended usage within semi-commercial, studio, low volume, small business or home environments. 'Commercial' refers to usage within the business, club, studio and also home environments.

WHAT IS COVERED?

Product numbers starting with VF-RTE15 identify VersaFit® Home rubber flooring items which are designed for lower volume foot traffic such as in the personal home or garage. These tiles carry a 1-year warranty covering application only within an indoor home environment and offers no warranty protection for application in higher foot traffic locales such as studios, corporate, club and commercial business environments. Please check your intended environment usage prior to purchase.

VersaFit® Commercial products may be identified by product numbers starting with VF-RT15 and designed to be a higher grade than VersaFit® Home products. These tiles carry a 3-year warranty covering application indoors within a commercial, studio or home environment.

*Outdoor usage is covered by a 1-year warranty where the tiles are undercover and not exposed to moisture.

Repairs or replacements for which warranty claims are made must be pre-approved by VersaFit® and can only be performed by VersaFit® accredited service dealers unless authorised in writing from VersaFit® customer service personnel.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED?

VersaFit®️ warranties do not cover any damage to a product caused by or attributable to freight damage, normal wear and tear of products, abuse, misuse, moisture, improper or abnormal usage, incorrect or lack of maintenance, conjunctive usage with other equipment and applications, repairs performed by anyone other than the pre-approved VersaFit®️ accredited service dealer or any commitments made by any external warranty. Abrasions, indentations, cosmetic damage and surface scratches due to the use of inappropriate footwear or sports equipment and damage caused by storing heavy or sharp items on the tile are also excluded. Any damage caused by repetitive dropping of dumbbells/barbells/weight plates would be assessed on a case by case basis in accordance with normal wear and tear.

This warranty also does not extend to dimensional shrinkage or expansion due to any combination of temperature changes through installation, delivery or storage of the tile as well as any gaps deemed excessive of the expected tolerance as a result of insufficient time for the tile to settle, relax and adapt to the environment after being unpacked and laid.

WARRANTY SERVICE AREA

Responsibility for freight or transport expenses incurred in delivering the product to the place of purchase falls upon the customer. Delivery expenses for spare parts sent directly to the owner will be the responsibility of the owner.

TRANSFERRING WARRANTY

The warranty is valid for the original owner of the equipment and is not transferable. VersaFit®'s obligation under this warranty is limited to repairing or replacing the tiles at the discretion of VersaFit®.

MAINTENANCE

Maintenance of the tiles is very simple and the responsibility of the purchaser to prolong the attractive appearance and performance of the rubber flooring. Surfaces may be swept with a soft bristled broom or cleaned with a vacuum. Tiles should be kept dry at all times as moisture will reduce the lifetime of rubber flooring but if a substance has been spilled which may stain, then a mop and warm water may be used and the tiles dried with towels immediately afterwards. Please keep in mind that moisture damage is not covered within this warranty.

INSTALLATION

We recommend using a licenced flooring contractor to install. Please discuss the installation procedure with an authorised VersaFit® distributor before performing the installation yourself.

VersaFit® tiles can be laid loose due to weight or fitted within a border or adhered to a solid base with a commercial grade adhesive. Using a piece of chalk and a steel ruler, mark the tiles and cut with a sharp utility knife to fit within the required area and lay in a criss-cross 'brick style' pattern. As you lay the VersaFit® tiles, butt them together tightly without leaving any gaps.

Ensure children and animals maintain a safe distance and proper PPE (safety gear) is used throughout the installation.
