INTEGRATED DEADLIFT JACK

The bar features an integrated deadlift jack that acts as a counterweight to keep the bar beautifully balanced. It also makes loading and unloading the bar easier, with plastic liners on the feet to protect your floors.

OPEN SIDED FRAME DESIGN

The open-sided frame allows the lifter to step in and out of the bar and doesn’t limit the lower body range of motion. This makes the bar functional for a wide variety of movements, such as lunging and carrying.

SUPERIOR GRIP ON EVERY REP

The textured matte black powder coat is not only sleek, but also provides an added level of grip. The frame also features a 6” section of medium-light knurling to add extra grip when squatting.

EASILY PERFORM PRESSES AND SQUATS

The Open Trap Bar also features a round tube frame which makes it comfortable to use as a cambered bar for both pressing and squatting.

Premium Quality Open Trap bar

I have a few trap bars before from the really basic trap bar to open trap bars, I must say this Rep Fitness Open Trap bar is the best by a long stretch. It's perfect from the sleeves to the sharp enough knurling on the handles. When you do the deadlift with it, it's a lot easier than most other trap bars to "centre" yourself right into the middle of the trap bar. And it feels perfectly balanced. Oh yes it's also a rackable trap bar! And many other features such as using it as a camber squat bar, do a seal row with, build-in deadlift jack, etc. But most importantly it does its main job well as a trap bar for deadlift.

Sure it's not exactly price-friendly but it's nowhere near the price point of Eleiko Open trap bar. Is Eleiko Oppen trap bar better? It's quite highly possible better but is it $1000 better than this Rep Fitness Open Trap Bar? I assume most likely not but I could be wrong. But I'm sure this is a reasonably (or fairly) priced high quality trap bar for its high quality spec.

Overall, I'm not only really pleased with this open trap bar, I'm really impressed by the high level customer service from Gym & Fitness. They're easy to deal with and always respond to my emails regarding their products in a timely fashion.

Awesome product. Super versatile for a range of movements. The build is bomb proof and aesthetically it’s a work of art. Two complaints, the engineering was slightly off on one handle so I can only fit it to one side, and the knurl is slightly aggressive but that’s a personal preference. Neither of these issues would stop me buying it again in a heartbeat. For the price there is really no other trap bar on the market this good.

The only other complaint I have is there isn’t enough REP range in Australia but hopefully that changes.
