The last bench you'll want to buy

This thing is built like a beast and is light enough to be lifted with one hand. I would recommend that you use a 19mm socket wrench to tighten the bolts as the supplied wrenches will not allow you to tighten it as much as you need it to be.

The bench is very stable and the padding grips your back very well for a perfect bench press. Also do not give in to the gimmick of the "zero gap" as other REP benches have. This bench is long enough that you can do all flat bench exercises on just the top part of the bench. Even still the gap on the seat is just over an inch.

For those who have the PR 5000 with the Rep Ares 2.0 you'll be happy to know the wheels fit perfectly to lock in with the REP Ares. The back post is also adjustable to allow for a -8 degree decline. For those wanting the Blackwing for the leg roller i would save the money and get this as it is stable to carry your weight and you can just attach a leg roller to your rack to achieve the exact same result for less. It also weighs less than the blackwing.

If i have to pick out cons it would be the lack of colour options and the fact that there are no washers on some of the bolts (I went to Bunnings and got my own). The lack of contrast between the angle numbers and the bench means it takes some effort to read what angle you actually have your bench at. Being able to choose a different colour like the US store would be better but not a deal breaker as I was going for a black aesthetic anyway.
